What are the arrival and departure times (check-in and check-out) at Auberge de la Sélune?

You can arrive from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. For your best welcome, it is however advisable to arrive before 6:00 p.m. due to our evening restaurant service. If you arrive after 9:00 p.m., you must call us on 02 33 48 53 62 so that we can organize your arrival.Check-out must be made before 11:00 in the morning.

Yes ! They are accepted free of charge in the restaurant and with an additional charge at the hotel. When booking at the hotel, you can choose the corresponding option to inform us.

Is breakfast included in the room price? What is the price ?

It all depends on your reservation, whether you choose just a room or a package including breakfast. You will have all this information when you book.

I have walking problems. Do you have suitable solutions?

Yes. Our restaurant is accessible and we have a room for people with reduced mobility. We do not have a lift but our rooms on the 1st floor are easy to access (low steps, mid-floor landing). It is important to notify us of any operating problems so that we can adapt our response to your needs.

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay by credit card, cash, check, transfer. Holiday vouchers are accepted up to half the bill with a ceiling of €300. Restaurant vouchers are not accepted.

Do you have air conditioning?

No. On the other hand, we have an efficient fan available in each room.

Our one-week holiday at Auberge de la Sélune was absolutely perfect.
The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable, providing a wonderful, relaxing atmosphere.
A true highlight of the property is the beautiful garden, which is the perfect spot to unwind.
Patrice and Sandra are fantastic hosts who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived.

The hotel is in a perfect, quiet location that serves as an ideal base for exploring by car or bike during the day, while offering total relaxation in the evening.
Thanks to wonderful personal suggestions from Patrice, we were able to easily explore the best of both Normandy and Brittany, including an unforgettable visit to the nearby Mont Saint-Michel.

The culinary experience here was a major highlight of our trip.
Every single meal at the restaurant was exceptional, showcasing fresh local ingredients and incredible flavours.
The service was attentive, warm, and perfectly complemented the wonderful food.

Auberge de la Sélune and its restaurant do not just offer a stay, they offer a truly unforgettable experience.

Un établissement exceptionnel.
Non seulement pour sa localisation au bord de la Sélune et à 100 m du Château des Montgommery, mais aussi par l'accueil exceptionnellement chaleureux de toute l'équipe, qui reste d'ailleurs très constante, d'une année sur l'autre, démontrant, par ailleurs, la qualité de la direction.

Le cadre est très agréable, Et le jardin au bord de la Sélune permet de prendre un apéritif au soleil couchant, ou un café au soleil levant.

L'assiette est toujours remarquable et très inventive.
Un lieu qui compose magistralement entre la tradition et la créativité.

La direction comme l'équipe est aux petits soins pour tous les clients.
C'est un endroit où, en général, nous décidons de nous rendre au détour d'un week-end ; Lorsque nous avons envie D'un cadre paisible, superbe et très gourmand.

Depuis toutes ces années, l'assiette n'est jamais décevante ; et, qui, ne craquerait pas sur le chariot de fromages ? Les menus sont extrêmement ramassés, traduisant la qualité de la table et la fraîcheur des ingrédients.

Enfin, les choix de vins sont extrêmement raffinés, avec une connaissance précise des producteurs.
De telle sorte que les conseils de choix de vins sont toujours excellents.

We booked Logis Auberge de la Sélune, Ducey, based upon past experience, but were disappointed with our current stay - principally, because of the extremely limited, but hugely expensive menu.
Of the 2 starter dishes, one was to neither of our liking so we opted for the Ancient Tomato and goats cheese salad.
My wife is allergic to goats cheese and asked, because of this if there was an alternative cheese - but was told no, even though there was a plentiful supply of alternative cheeses on a trolley nearby, it was also stated that there would be no reduction of the 15euro price without the goats cheese.
An extremely expensive sliced tomato salad! Again the main courses were very limited - I opted for the lamb dish and was told it comprised 3 types of lamb.
I asked for "medium" cooked.
It arrived rare and had to go back to the kitchen.
The lamb comprised 3 extremely poor quality, small morcels of meat - costing 43 euros! My wife was even less fortunate in choosing what sounded delicious - entrecot steak in a port sauce.
She asked for no blood.
It was served as a couple of grey chunks of meat, which even with a steak knife, she was unable to cut.
There was no sign of a port sauce, the dish was dry.
She sent it back and although offered an alternative dish, the limited menu precluded this and we informed the restaurant manager that we did not expect to be charged for my wife's mail course, which we weren't.

Our room at 93 euros was somewhat dated, but was clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom.
In the corridor leading to our room, curtains were hanging off their runner and overgrown plants trailed onto the carpet.
It gemerally looked like it needed a bit of TLC.

Unfortunately, based upon this experience, we will not be returning to this Logis Hotel.
